Living on Florida’s Space Coast
Our second fab is rising in Palm Bay, Florida, in the heart of the Space Coast: the stretch of Atlantic coastline where rockets launch over the beach and one of the country’s densest aerospace and defense corridors goes to work every day. Here’s what life looks like when you join the team building it.

Rockets Over the Beach
The Space Coast is named for a reason. Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral are up the road, and launches light up the sky over the Atlantic all year long. Watching a rocket climb from your own beach chair never gets old.

The Outdoors, Florida-Style
Year-round sunshine means year-round water: surfing at Cocoa Beach, kayaking the Indian River Lagoon, world-class fishing, and more than 70 miles of Atlantic beaches. When you want a change of pace, Orlando’s parks and airports are about an hour away.
A Growing Tech Hub
Brevard County is home to one of the highest concentrations of engineers and aerospace talent in the country, anchored by the space program and a deep defense industry. Our Palm Bay fab puts you in the middle of it, helping bring 200mm and 300mm MEMS capacity online as the site comes up. And Florida has no state income tax.

Schools and Universities
The education pipeline is one of the reasons the Space Coast works so well for technical families and technical employers alike.
- Brevard Public Schools: an A-rated district for the third consecutive year, serving about 75,000 students across 110 schools with strong magnet and school-choice programs.
- Florida Institute of Technology: a STEM-focused research university in nearby Melbourne, founded in 1958 to support the space program.
- Eastern Florida State College: associate and bachelor’s programs, with a campus right in Palm Bay.
- University of Central Florida: one of the largest universities in the country, about an hour away in Orlando.
