Sensors Expo & Conference is rolling around again with an expanded Women in Sensors Engineering Program (WISE) presence. The afternoon of Wednesday, June 28, will include a panel presentation, coaching and mentoring roundtable, and networking cocktail reception. Starting at 2:00 p.m., the events are open to all attendees, free of charge.

Program content will include building teams, ensuring a successful career path, competing in a male-dominated workplace, and capitalizing on female strengths. The panel presentation features:

  • Wendy Arienzo, FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc.
  • Ana Bernal, Libelium
  • Alissa Fitzgerald, AMFitzgerald
  • Charlene Marini, ARM
  • Tanya Monsef Bunger, Global Executive Coach

I am proud to be a mentor during the coaching and mentoring roundtable discussion segment, along with my colleagues:

  • Mary Ann Maher, SoftMEMS
  • Petrina Zaraszczak, TE Connectivity

While we are dedicated to furthering all aspects of the engineering profession, the WISE program is naturally very special to me. Female engineers in the sensor industry continue to be on the leading edge of innovation. As women enter the industry, it is important to provide a strong inspirational and informative presence. It’s what we do at WISE. Please consider joining, learning, and sharing your experiences with us.
